Born in 1973 in the Ceyhan district of Adana, Selim Serkan Say graduated from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Yıldız Technical University in 1995. He completed his master’s degree in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Sakarya University in 1997 and is continuing his doctoral studies, which he began in 2020, in the Department of Business Administration at Istanbul University’s Faculty of Economics. Having received professional and managerial training in England, Germany, France, Scotland, Canada, and the United States, Selim Serkan Say has presented papers at national and international conferences and published articles in academic journals. Between 1996 and 2008, he started his career as a project engineer at İGDAŞ, a subsidiary of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, and served in managerial positions in various departments. From 2008 to 2021, he held responsibilities as director of business development, projects, training, and certification at UGETAM Inc., another subsidiary of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. Between 2022 and 2024, he served as the General Manager of the ITÜNOVA Technology Transfer Office at Istanbul Technical University. Since October 2024, he has continued as the General Manager of the Technology Transfer Office at Yıldız Technical University. He is married and has two sons.
